About the Role

The Kilkenny Café Shanagarry is currently seeking a Senior Supervisor to join our team in East Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor that understands the importance of putting the customer first and will go above and beyond to ensure each customer has a pleasurable shopping experience. The Supervisor will support the Cafe Manager of the Shanagarry Design Centre in the day to day operations of the café.

As Café Supervisor you will provide leadership, direction and coaching on all aspects of the Cafe Operations with the team with regard to achieving agreed KPI’S, Cafe objectives and delivering the company core purpose of a 5 star customer service and values. In your role building and leading your teams to link sell, upsell and closing sales is pivotal to the success of the café.

As Cafe Supervisor you will play a key role in adapting and applying clear practices and procedures across the store and cafe from, logistics, administration, stock management, customer service, health & safety and cash management.

Position: Office Administrator

As Office Administrator you will be reporting to the Store Manager regarding all administrative duties for the Kilkenny Shop Nassau Street. You will work collaboratively with all departments and the Head of Retail with regard to reports, administration and customer queries.

Main responsibilities

Receptionist:

  • Make each customer feel important by offering help and advice by providing information on products and promotions
  • To greet, welcome, and direct visitors appropriately. Notifying Management of visitor arrivals for meetings or interviews.
  • Sorting and organising the distribution of inbound and outbound post, with emphasise on timelines for certain post. You are the point of contact for all sale signs
  • Maintaining and keeping the reception are tidy and in order. Managing all mail order processes and maintaining customer mailing list

Office Administration Support:

  • Clockwise completion - roster management and weekly payroll submission
  • Ordering all consumables and stationary for the office and store with both internal and external suppliers using a min/max system.
  • Preparing confidential reports, drafting letters, memos and faxes
  • Managing all email correspondence from all internal teams and external businesses
  • Support administrative support to Line Managers with events, presentations and store visits.
  • Diary Management – boardroom and office bookings.
  • Adhering to deadlines through effective communication, follow through and organisation
  • Support to Head of Retail 
  • Diary management and appointment booking
  • Agenda setting and minute taking when required
  • Sending correspondence on behalf of The Head of Retail to our Retail Stores and Cafes.
  • Managing all email correspondence from all internal teams and external businesses.

  • Assist and perform various instore demonstrations and events, examples but not limited to, mini facials, skin analysis, hand massages, product advice and educational workshops.
  • A flair and knowledge in shellac, gel manicures, eyebrow shaping and pedicures
  • Ensure that the highest standard of service is provided to all customers with excellent personal presentation, punctuality, attendance, application of work, team work and customer care.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of all treatments, in accordance with the Health and Safety and hygiene legislation. 

Skills / Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years working as a Beauty Therapist
  • Counter Retail Experience an advantage
  • Must have relevant beauty therapy & nail technician qualifications
  • Nail technician with passion for perfection: knowledge in shellac, manicure, gel or acrylics.
