Role: Chef de Partie
Location: The Kilkenny Café Shanagarry Co Cork.
Hours: Day time hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join our team at the Kilkenny Café in Shanagarry Co Cork.

As Chef de Partie you will join the Food & Beverage team in offering a unique positioning within the industry. We encourage you to be creative with your food and have the pace for high service. We have a caring and genuine team and we will expect the right candidate to possess these qualities as the number one criteria.

We cook great food so also expect a professional cookery experience from our chefs. You will be organised and passionate about food. The Chef de Partie will report to the Head Chef

Responsibilities:

  • To prepare all foods as requested by the Head Chef
  • Assist in the compiling of menus including salads as required
  • To help control stock and waste
  • Deliveries are properly checked and stored.
  • Stock is constantly monitored and rotated where necessary
  • Adhere to cleanliness rules and routines to prevent food spoilage and waste
  • Be fully conversant and comply with current up to date health& safety, HACCP, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures
  • To be flexible with your time if and when required by Head Chef
  • Ensure a high standard of personal hygiene and grooming
  • To carry out any other duties when requested by Head Chef.

Requirements:

  • Extremely knowledgeable about pastry
  • Organized and comfortable working under pressure
  • Experience is essential for this role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor to join our team at the Kilkenny Shop Trim. We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual who wants to work with a team that is dedicated to advancing the customer experience through its brand values.

You will be actively involved in motivating and developing a highly trained sales team to drive sales forward and to achieve store targets. You will play a key role in adapting and applying clear practices and procedures across the store from, logistics, administration, stock management, customer service and cash management.

Key Responsibilities in the role:
